• It's really the Deanne l same exact model. I had the same thought as you when I wanted to but mine. I already had the official rt-86u and wanted to add another to make a mesh network. I found the 86u/2900 cheaper on Amzn at the time and tried to price match it with BB. Because the model numbers are different, no price match. It was only 10 dollars difference and bought from BB anyway. It's the same exact model with different model number. This is common in the industry to prevent price shopping. Bed manufactures so this all the time too.
