“The BE3000 3 pack explicitly states it supports up to 200 devices. Since I have about 150 or so smart devices in my house, I need those numbers. Even the manufacturer's website fails to say how many THIS model supports. So what is the number here?”

It will likely be 200 per node or 400 across the two nodes.
