• Both are correct. You can “unlock” it with the Aventon app My bike can do 32+ mph

• I have had it up to 20.4 mph according to the display. My understanding is that if you download the Aventon App to your phone and link it, the bike is then capable of 30 mph.

• Thank you for your question. 20 mph is the standard max out of the box. 28 mph can be achieved through settings in our app when you pair the bike using our Aventon app.
