Thank you moneyman for your question! The different sizes are geared towards fit for riders. Weight does not play a part in the sizing as all sizes have the same payload. The sizing recommendation for our step-through model are as follows: S/M 4'11" - 5'7" M/L 5'8"- 6'2"
