I recently purchased a cable and the yellow [video] and red [right channel audio] were reversed. Do t know if this happens often or if it may have happened to you but you might just try hooking it up different ways.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a similar question. I finally found that there are 3 different standards for 3.5 to 3 RCA adapter. The 3.5mm connector is arranged 1-4 from tip to base. Camcorder AV (1-Left, 2-Video, 3-Ground, 4-Right) CTIA/Apple (1-Left, 2-Right, 3-Ground, 4-Mic/Video) OMTP/Nokia (1-Left, 2-Right, 3-Mic, 4-Ground) Depending on what your camera is and the cable, simply swapping the RCA side may not help since the ground pin is different with OMTP/Nokia standard. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Check to see how many sections the 3.5 has. 2 lines is audio only. 3 is a and v.
