You may need to get the operating manual out on both pieces of equipment and look at what connection on the 3.5mm male terminal is for the audio and video connection. Ignore the color code and match that accordingly. Use an ohm meter to check continuity for RCA terminal to 3.5 mm terminal and connect accordingly. Older AV equipment used a different configuration back in the day for audio and video color code on the RCA connector end. Hope this helps?
