• Yes, there is a microphone with pretty good voice pickup, great for calls. The middle (power) button can be long-pressed to end a call.

• Yes, there is a built in microphone on the headphones itself. I believe there are dual microphones. I have taken calls with them and had no problems at all. Everything was crystal clear and the person on the other end had no issues hearing me.
