• I imagine they could. If you hold the button you can connect to the Google voice activated browser so it may just be a matter of formatting your settings.

• Great Question!! You can activate an assistant with the WH-CH700N the same as you can with the iOS Home button. If you can activate Google Assistant by pressing the Home Button & speaking into the phone, then you can activate Google Assistant with the WH-CH700N. However, if you press the Home Button & it only brings up Siri, that is the same result to expect from WH-CH700N. Go to Settings - Accessibility - Home Button - Voice Control. If you can get Google Assistant to open, then the answer to your question is YES. I tried, but was unable to get the phone to open Google Assistant by voice.
