The beats are not adjustable. They are designed to go over and in the ear. You can adjust (i.e move around the ear) to your comfort. As far as big/small ear unfortunately no, but it would be nice for the Beats brand to come up with something like that for people like me who has small ears. Happy Holidays hope this helps :)!
