Can the phone lay flat? null

Hi, AppleFan. If you mean the charging orientation, then the charger is designed for portrait position.

No the phone can't lay flat on this charger. It has to sit upright in a portrait orientation.

So if you mean flat like level with the ground, then no. It does have like a nook to sit still and flat upright and it’s angled so it does sit flat against the docked part. Works well with minimum case, haven’t tried otter box or anything bulky, seems like it wouldn’t handle it well.
