• Hi. This model only supports up to 5W of wireless charging, while the new model supports up to 7.5W.

• The Belkin model has a charging speed of 7.5W. Insignia has 15W. iPhones will only be able to support 7.5W speeds in iOS 11.2. I suspect that higher speeds could come with later iPhone or software releases.
