• You can certainly steam the rice, but DO NOT OPEN THE PACKAGE, steam the rice in package, once done remove the pkgs open and put it in a bowl, then add your seasoning, enjoy

• It comes with a bowl u put rice in bowl and u can steam it with steamer so answer is yes
