I was wondering the same thing, but I "think" that the different settings just adjust the starting temperature. I've tried to listen to the fan on the Steak setting vs the Bake setting and they both seem the same speed to me. So, I always start on the Steak setting, which starts things at 400 and manually adjust the temperature if I'm cooking at a lower temp. This is just my educated guess though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same question. When I switch on the airfryer it asks me to select a setting inorder to change time and temperature and when i select bake or chicken or roast setting, the fan switches on only during the last minute of cooking and it doesnt come out crispy. So how to keep the air fry fan on for the entire cooking time and make the food crispy?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I agree - on this SmartCrisp 8 qt model there is no "air fryer" option. When you first turn the unit on you have to pick one of the 10 options on the screen - "Bake", "Roast", "French Fries", "Chicken", "Veggies", "Steak", "Fish", "Bacon", "Keep Warm" and "Reheat". Then after you pick which option it goes on and asks for time and temperature, no way to "unselect" whatever option you picked to go back to any "default". Soooooo, which one to "just" air fry?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. But if i keep in roast mode or any mode the fan switches on only during last minute. How to keep the fan on always?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Once again, there is no air fry setting on the bella Pro SmartCrisp 8 qt. It will not come on until you choose a setting. LOOK AT THE PICTURE OF THE SETTINGS.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Once again, there is no air fry setting, look at the picture where it shows the settings you have to choose from. You plug it in, you push power and you have to choose a setting from the ones on the air fryer. There is no air fry setting. i don't know why this is so hard to understand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When you push power you have to select a setting. There is no air fry setting. I have ask this question 2 times but no one seems to understand.
