• I didn't have to mount mine on a window, though you certainly can do that with the two sided tape provided. I attached mine to the wall bracket holding my TV to the wall. As for the direction it needs to face, it may not matter too much. You may get better reception if you face the antenna in the direction of the TV station transmitters. Where I live, they are mostly to my north, with a few farther south. It's best to try the channel set up a couple of times to see which direction and position (high or low) give you the best reception.
