• Honey if it was heavy I wouldn't be using it. It is very light. The amount of water you put in it will not make it heavy at all. Go to the store and pick it up. I think you will be very pleased with it.

• Under the Product Specifications in the listing on the Best Buy site it says the weight is 6.2 pounds .. NOT 8.3 lbs as someone stated.
