The instructions are very easy to follow. It only has a few steps in the process and I had no trouble getting started or cleaning up after.

Yes, I bought this for my mother who is on the dainty side, after putting it together with a few snaps, she uses it often to clean her floors. It doesn't weigh too much and it's not had to handle, only down side is the tank may be a bit small, but that goes hand in hand with it being easy to use.
