I believe it can with say 3M stick.. But screwed in is the better option in my opinion

Screws only I suggest mounting it so the doorbell sees approaching traffic illuminates the use of the outdoor camera for that view. Working great since I live in an apartment in a bunch of red tape coats with screw in the hole in the wall to run the security camera from the cable company Wish I would’nt have entered that contract.
