I assume by now you have solved this issue. There are instructions in the manual for what to do which involves opening up the washer top I believe but if the installation crew don’t know how to do it an electrician will be needed. We addressed this issue when we ordered and the installation crew came prepared.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We had to get an electrician to install a new recepticle to match the 4 prong plug.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can and will have to swap the 4 prong cord with an American 3 prong cord. The dryer manual shows you how to do this but essentially, you have to remove the top of the dryer. Keep in mind, it slides out towards the frond before it can be lifted off.

Also, speak with the sales associate that sold you the machine. If the sales associate did not ask you what chord type you may have at your house, then I think that is where the issue resonates. If that was never brought to your attention, then you have a case for Best Buy to exchange your machine to the correct chord. In my case, I was asked how old was our home and do you know if you have a three or four prong chord. Good Luck!
