“What is the impedance of these speakers and will they work with a TC-8 switch? I have a pair of these already and they work well. I am thinking of buying a second pair for a different room and using a TC-8 2-way stereo speaker control I purchased to flip between the two (using either pair at a time not both). However, the TC-8 switch says it is only compatible with min 8ohm speakers. Will it work with the Bose 161 speakers?”

• Hi, Rich. Thanks for your question. The Bose 161 speakers are rated between 10–100 watts per channel at 4-8 ohms. Therefore, they will certainly be compatible with your 8 ohm switch. We hope this helps!

• Yes, but I'd be careful about turning up the power too much, you could rip the cones in half.
