A:Answer In my opinion, the Bose 301 speaker system will work fine for a 600 sq. ft. area. That works out to a room size of about 25 x 25. That being said, everything is relative. If you want ear-splitting sound, get a second pair and put them in all four corners. Sit in the middle of the room, and run them through a good quality amplifier. They will knock your socks off. For everyday listening, one pair will work just fine.
