Can't speak to the iPhone, but I've connected mine to at least 3 different Windows 10 laptops with no trouble at all. I've also had them connected to a couple of different iPads, an Air 2 and an iPad Pro as well as my Samsung Note 9 (Android phone). The mic works well for me.
