• they do stick out some but not a problem for me. I don't care if they look awkward.

• This is a matter of opinion. Try them out and see how you feel about them. They stick out more than Apple Airpods but provide so much more technology. But it seeing that name Bose right there is a lot like other fancy brands, you almost want it to stick out.
