“How good are these for blocking/muffling super noisy upstairs neighbors? I live below some serious Stompers/Slammers (stomp all across their floor, slam every sort of door) and they are the worst at night. Would these help block them out?”

My next-door neighbors can get pretty noisy too. However, these do a great job of drowning them out at night. Not only do these create a kind of seal around your ear to make it harder for external noise to get in, but you can control the volume of the noise from the app comparable to your cellphone volume. So imagine how loud your phone can go when you have earphones in. The seal makes that even louder. If your cellphone can reach a decent volume level, then these should be able to clock out your neighbors.

Have you considered just buying regular ear plugs that's what I do for super noisy situations you can get them and put them in your ears. Walmart sells them and you want to get 33 decibels or higher the ones that are not tapered off on the bottom work better the ones with the blunt ends.
