Quick answer - Yes. They provide some noise cancelling while filling your ears with gentle sounds like white noise, waves, birds chirping, etc. I use mine at say a volume of 4 out of 10. My spouse snores heavily and these allowed me to sleep next to her. Did they completely drown her out - no, but good enough that I was able to balance the volume of the sounds I was playing verse her noises to get to a level where I could sleep. She now has a cpap and is dead quiet and I am so used to the sounds of nature that I use them every night but now at a volume of 2. You won't regret if you try em.

Yes, they block out snoring sounds very well. I recommend playing with the earbud covers to be certain to get the best secure fit in the ear.

Not exactly, but they minimize it enough so it doesn’t bother you anymore.

They did not work for me as far as snoring.
