As far as I know, we're limited to the sounds the Bose Sleep app provides. Bose explains that they deliberately limited the earbuds' versatility in order to keep them as small and comfortable as possible. The Bose sleep app provides multiple (like maybe 30-40 overall) soundtracks. They are divided broadly into tranquilizing sounds; noise-masking sounds; and nature sounds. Each track loops, so you get a repetitive (and thus calming) version of whatever sounds you choose. I'm a music buff, and I've found their tracks suitable for the purpose intended. Remember, we want to sleep -- not become engaged in a music performance.

Please try again later.No. The devices are small and having to have the battery, electronics and all in such a small form factor, the sounds that are downloaded are extremely small in size and are looped. Bose does have an ever expanding set of downloadable sounds but they are mean to be calming white noise, nature, and/or eretheral type sounds and not music. Don't know if Bose will have the option in the future to allow you to set a personal library on your phone that you could pull from. Suppose the restrictions on size and having the sounds have a nice point where they can loop without being noticeable would be tough to do on your own. For now, it is not an option.
