No you can not add this to a receiver and an independent speaker. This is a soundbar and only takes audio in but not line in inputs.

The Bose Solo is a a self-powered device, so we would not recommend using it as a center channel speaker as it cannot be connected to a speaker level output. However, you could use it in conjunction with other speakers by connecting it to the line output on a receiver or amplifier. Thanks!
