i have no experience in your proposed setup ... as the bose utilizes an optical audio out, i would be concerned a bit that the Polk will not be synced with the Bose ... trial and error - - i believe that Best Buy would allow a return ( re-stocking fee ?? ) if submitted within tight time lines
