Hello Paine. The Solo 5 TV Soundbar receives an IR signal for remote control. A 3rd-party universal remote may have the ability to be programmed to the Solo 5 TV Soundbar. To be sure, we recommend reaching out to the manufacturer of the remote control you own. They may be able to tell you if there are compatible device codes available, for Bose products.
