Does this soundbar need an external subwoofer? null

No it has great sound. It’s a Bose. No need for it.

The Bass is produced by the internal speakers of the Soundbar itself, and the level of bass can be adjusted using the remote control to find a level you are happy with. if you turn the volume up half way and make it loud it has decent bass i beleive u r not able to add a subwoofer to this soundbar some tvs take the thick 40 dollar optical digital wire some tvs take the thin optical wire that comes with the sound bar the 40 dollar one u have to buy seperate
