• Did you get an answer to this? Looking to buy this but will have the same concern. Appears it can be done. Did you get the Comcast (I assume voice remote) to control the volume?

• Hello Beach, the Solo 5 includes a universal remote that will control your X1 box. If you'd like the Comcast remote to control the speaker we'd recommend contacting Comcast for Bose specific codes for their remote. Thank you and have a great day!
