• yes it produces good sound in all conditions. When i tested it at Bestbuy store which is an open landscape store, the sound was amazing.

• We just recently used my son's Bose Revolve at the beach and it was great! The beach was crowded but not in the same way as tailgating can be but I am confident that you won't be disappointed. The sound didn't washout like some speakers do in open environments either. I hope this helps.
