• I came looking for this issue. I bought two of these at the same time. Neither packaging had been tampered with. I charged one all night and it never came on. Today, I plugged the other one in and looks like it also is not going to work. A red light flashes when I plug both in but it stops and the units have not charged any. Very disappointed!

• seems like you got a defective unit. Mine worked right out of the box, and I didn't have to charge at all the first time I used it. Usually I just charge it every couple of days for a couple of hours, and it works fine by pushing the little white button on the back.
