Materials used to make the coffee maker and a couple additional button for the bells and whistles however they are nice additions.

Germangal didn't look hard enough. There are differences. Like temp control and strength control.

Bought black one first, upgraded to Stainless for 2 reasons. 
1. Regular or Bold brew settings
2. High Med and Low setting for warmer plate
Makes good coffee not disappointed.

Absolutely nothing. My best guess is that the plastic is cheaper. I went on their website and they do everything the same. I did a side by side comparison on the website and it's identical minus the black.
