Will this printer work with mac OS X? null

It will work with a MAC but if you use the "pre-scan" feature and select an area that you want to scan instead of the default 8.5 x 11 area the program will crash and it will not scan. Then you have to scan the entire default area and crop your scan in another program. I tried playing with various settings such as lowering the resolution or using different file types; none of them helped.
