• I have mine connected via USB, not wirelessly. I would think that if you're printing from a document that isn't on the internet (i.e. a Word document), it should still work. The problem may be if you're trying to print from an internet source and you lost your internet connection-I don't think being connected via USB would change the fact that you've lost the document you're trying to print.

• Yes, you can print via a USB cable, however, I am not sure if you can leave the USB cable connected and also use the Wi-Fi connection.
