• I have never in my life heard of an All-in-one printer not allowing you to choose where to store a scanned document, including on an attached computer's hard drive somewhere. You shouldn't need to save directly to a flash drive or SD Card, unless you want to.

• The options are for a local SD card or flash drive, a local network location, or to a cloud provider of your choice. So you can send scanned documents or photos to any computer on your network with an available file share.
