• The one I bought did not have the latest firmware, but it is very easy to update yourself. Right now canon only released the firmware for the autofocus fix, it works great now. The 24p update will be released later.

• Mine came with 1.1.0 and 1.2.0 is now available. It does improve the autofocus, but it is still terrible. If autofocus is your concern stick with the mark ii or get the M50 if you need great autofocus, mic input, 4k, and slow motion.

• I recently purchased the G7X Miii and it had the latest firmware. It is also easy to load the firmware if it not already installed. Autofocus works well.
