114 vs the 130 refers to the aperture. its is how much light it can gather. ive used a 60mm vs the 114mm and i don't notice to much of a difference except the moons around Jupiter are much more visible. so i would say the 130 would brighten up the moons a bit more and help with deep sky objects such as nebulas, clusters and galaxy's.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The larger a telescope's aperture (size of lens or primary mirror) the more light it will be able to gather, the more you will be able to see, especially fainter objects. The key is to purchase a telescope with the largest aperture you can handle and afford. If you can save for the larger StarSense Explorer DX 130AZ, it would be recommended, but both models will provide you with years of enjoyment.
