You have to pay a subscription to make it work with IFTTT. I would not border buying it though.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can schedule the door to close at a certain time but it will not allow you to schedule it to open automatically. It says for safety reasons, which I personally agree with and for my usage doesn't matter because I don't desire that feature. If this is a feature you are looking for you may need to search elsewhere.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It’s not possible to set an open and close time. Through the app. You can however pay for myQ’s service and work an automatic close through IFTTT. You can also set up an applet that allows google home to close the garage via voice command. Just wish I could open with voice command. Nick Yourbrighthouse.com
