I do not own a VW or 2014 Jetta. The Compustar Q9 will start your car from a distance. However to drive your vehicle, common sense dictates that if your vehicle requires a factory key FOB, or a physical key inserted, you will need your key fob or physical key inserted to drive your vehicle. Put the physical key into the ignition and turn it to the drive position, step on the brake to disengage the remote start and the vehicle will remain started and will be driveable
