If the motors on your Contixo F28 drone aren't starting and the drone/battery are heating up, here are a few things to check: Battery Placement & Charge: Make sure the battery is fully charged and properly seated in the drone. A loose connection can prevent power delivery to the motors. Motor Lock Mode: Some drones have safety lock features that prevent motor start-up until GPS is locked or calibration is completed. Make sure you've completed the full GPS lock process and any required calibrations (gyroscope and compass). Throttle Startup Sequence: Try the standard motor unlock sequence—typically pushing both sticks down and outward/inward—depending on the drone model. Overheating Warning: If the battery or drone is heating up excessively during standby, immediately stop using it. This could indicate a short circuit or battery issue. Since you've already tried recalibration and restarting without success, and overheating is present, we recommend: Discontinuing use of that battery immediately for safety. Contacting Contixo Support for a warranty claim or replacement options.
