“I was able to connect the drone to the remote control and have the green but when I try to start the motors nothing happens. I tried recalibrating, restarting etc but the motors do not work. Also the battery and the drone seem to be heating up.”

If the motors on your Contixo F28 drone aren't starting and the drone/battery are heating up, here are a few things to check: Battery Placement & Charge: Make sure the battery is fully charged and properly seated in the drone. A loose connection can prevent power delivery to the motors. Motor Lock Mode: Some drones have safety lock features that prevent motor start-up until GPS is locked or calibration is completed. Make sure you've completed the full GPS lock process and any required calibrations (gyroscope and compass). Throttle Startup Sequence: Try the standard motor unlock sequence—typically pushing both sticks down and outward/inward—depending on the drone model. Overheating Warning: If the battery or drone is heating up excessively during standby, immediately stop using it. This could indicate a short circuit or battery issue.
