• Yes, the microphone on these works quite well and I purchased these for that reason.

• Hi norma, This would work on your PC for those chat applications, you just need to set them to use the input and output to the headset. -Brian

• I use this headset for web conferencing through Microsoft teams, Adobe connect, Zoom, and Bluejeans daily. The quality of audio both sending and receiving is top tier. It's a usb dongle for wireless capability and the range is exceptional. The only concern would be looking like a huge nerd during meetings, but that's totally fine for me.
