A:AnswerYou must hold the 6 and 8 oz buttons down at the same time for a few seconds with a cup underneath. Once this runs it resets and the light clean light goes out. Also make sure you run a full carafe of water through to flush out the vinegar.
A:AnswerThis coffee center does have charcoal filters in each of it's two separate water reservoirs. They are small and fit into machine specific handles that extend down to the water inlet of the reservoir into the tubes that lead to the brewing components. From what I have found they are generally sold as a two pack where Cuisinart coffee makers are sold. Prices can vary quite a lot though.
Also, if you are someone who likes to use bottled water to make their coffee, there is absolutely no reason to be using these filters. They filter out the mineral and particulates that are found in tap water and really do not serve any other function. The machine does work without having these installed.
A:AnswerWe're having the same problem! It happened a while back, but we forgot to note how we fixed the problem. Will try to come up with a solution and get back to you.
Also, this SS-15 Series was purchased, 2016, from a dept. store and was returned/replaced, (no hassles, no questions), almost two years to the day of original purchase. This replacement is, going belly-up, almost a month prior to the replacement date of 08.2018. May be time to change brands!
A:AnswerMine will do that on occasion. It will pour water out of the top rather than through the k cup. I stop the process and replace the k cup (coffee pod) and do it again with no issues. If yours does it every time, you might want to try a different brand of coffee pods and if it continues, return the coffee pot as defective. But I've found that the top of the coffee pods have been completely shredded instead of having a clean small hole through it when it happens.
