“Hi, I read somewhere that this unit can send a text or e-mail alert when the unit loses power and or is on battery power. Is this true?”

• Yes, you can program it to notify you of a power fail and the time of the failure.

• You have the option of signing up for the service from Cyberpower for email and/or SMS, or you can configure your own SMTP email settings in the software for email only.

• Yes & no. The unit (ups) does not send anything. Although it's software on the connected pc will notify you with email.
