Hello, Our speakers feature a bipolar speaker array which is what you see when there is speakers facing forwards and backwards, this allows for sound to be fired to the rear and reflected out back to the listening position to provide for a wider soundstage and a fuller experience. There is a switch on the rear to switch the speaker to Forward Focused to allow it to work better for object based surround sound if you plan on using these towers for surround speakers, for Dolby Atmos this is the recommended setup. As for Atmos, they are not designed for Atmos alone, instead we have some options for adding Atmos within a Dymension system. We produce the DM90 which is an integrated height module that connects to the top of a Dymension tower speaker to allow it to fire upwards and produce Atmos effects, in addition to that we also have the DM95 which is also designed as an Atmos speaker but instead of connecting to the tower, it is independant and can be mounted anywhere on a wall.
