The computer itself is capable of putting out 4k, I have had it on a 4k tv and it works great. As far as changing the screen out, no. You need an external monitor or tv that is 4k capable. I suppose it's possible but I can't see how it would be worth the investment. Dells higher end models of this laptop have 4k screens already.
