is it an IPS display or a TN panel ? null

Unfortunately a TN. It is keeping my from buying this laptop. There is supposed to be an IPS version coming but who knows when. (Dell online chat did not know when that would come)

It is now an IPS panel. They no longer come with a lower grade TN

It's a TN, and a very poor TN at that. Way worse than the TN in, say, the Lenovo Y510p. https://www.reddit.com/r/Dell/comments/5rhfuc/the_inspiron_7567_tn_display_why_it_matters/

It has even worse display quality compare to the precess model Inspiron 7559. It is a poor quality TN panel.
