Not that I have heard, but I will say this, it's possible that a certain batch had a bad run, so if you got both from the same store, I'd recommend exchanging it at another store to hopefully get one from a different manufacturing run. This laptop is absolutely excellent, and even though an experience like this can ruin a product in your eyes, it's worth the hassle to find you a good one!
