This model is compatible with wired speaker brands up to 7 satellite speakers and 1 subwoofer. The model uses banana clip inputs, so it is best to add banana clips to the end of the speaker wires. This model likely will not work with 'surround sound systems in a box' which have speaker connections made specifically for that included receiver.
