No, you will not be able to use HEOS wireless speakers in a surround sound format with this unit.

I dont know about the sub, I believe so. I have my rear channel speakers hooked up wirelessly

Not sure about the sub but that is exactly what I did. Interesting though, when I play music It is perfect but when the TV is on it breaks up a little. Need to called Heios support as they were VERY helpful in the setup.
